Shipping and Delivery
ESSENZA HOME aspires to offer an order to the carrier within 24 hours. For this to be possible, the order has to meet the following conditions:
- All ordered products are in stock
- The order is made on working days from Monday to Thursday, with the exception of public holidays*
- ESSENZA HOME has received the payment
*Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be offered to the carrier on the next working day. Keep in mind that it is busier than usually towards the holidays and that it may take longer for ESSENZA HOME to process the order.
It is possible to have an order delivered to a different address, for example when nobody is at home during the day or when it concerns a gift. This can be arranged during the ordering process by giving another delivery address than the billing address.
At the moment ESSENZA HOME does not offer gift wraps yet. For this service ESSENZA HOME likes to refer you to our store(s). Do you still wish to order a present in the webshop and have it delivered on another address? Keep in mind that all products have a price tag and that a shipping list is added to the package. Please contact our customer service for more information about the possibilities.
ESSENZA HOME charges € 4,95 shipping costs for packages within the Netherlands and Belgium, irrespective of the size or weight of the order. The cost for international shipping vary per country. An overview of the shipping costs per country is shown below.

In the Netherlands our packages are delivered by DHL for you / Selektvracht. Packages that have to be send abroad are delivered by DHL.
ESSENZA HOME aspires to offer an order to the carrier the same day or else no later than the next working day. However, ESSENZA HOME has no influence on their processing and delivery time.
When the delivery is made and nobody is home at the address in the Netherlands, the carrier will try to deliver the parcell again the next working day. If the package still can't be delivered after 4 tries, it will be returned to ESSENZA HOME. However, in this case the shipping costs have to be paid again.
When nobody is at home (outside the Netherlands) when the delivery is made, the carrier will try to deliver the package again the next working day. If the package still can’t be delivered, the package will go to a depot. The package can be picked up there within 7 working days. When the package is not picked up, it will be returned to ESSENZA HOME. It is still possible to receive the delivery. However, in this case the shipping costs have to be paid again.
Customs and import duties (delivery outside EU)
Any customs or import duties will be charged once the parcel reaches the country of destination. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.We have no control over these charges and we can't check before what the costs will be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.
Please contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you wouldn't surprised to charges you were not expecting.
