Terms & Conditions

These  terms and conditions are applicable to all agreements you conclude with ESSENZA HOME., hereinafter referred to as ESSENZA”, “Essenzahome.nl”, “we”, “us” or “webstore”. By placing an order, you are accepting the general terms and conditions.

Conclusion of agreement
ESSENZA HOME is entitled to refuse an order, stating the grounds for doing so, or to attach special conditions to the delivery. If we are unable to determine your residential address, the order will not be accepted. The agreement is concluded the moment ESSENZA HOME confirms your order per e-mail.

Prices and costs
Prices listed in the webstore include 21% VAT. Prices listed in the ESSENZA HOME webstore exclude shipping and administrative costs. You can find shipping costs, which are charged for every order, per country on the page Delivery. All spelling errors and prices are subject to change.

ESSENZA HOME takes the utmost care when receiving orders and shipping the ordered items. We send the accepted orders as quickly as possible according to the order of arrival. You can find more information about this subject on the page Shipping & Delivery.

Customs and import duties (delivery outside EU)
Any customs or import duties will be charged once the parcel reaches the country of destination. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.We have no control over these charges and we can't check before what the costs will be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.
Please contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you wouldn't surprised to charges you were not expecting.

Right of withdrawal
You have a right of withdrawal within 14 days after the date that you received you order; i.e. you have the opportunity to return the items you received. In that case, you must contact us via the email address which is quoted on our Contact page. After giving approval, we will transfer the amount to be reimbursed to a bank or Giro account within 14 days.

If you decide to return the items, the shipping costs incurred for returning these items will be borne by you. We will, however, provide you with the return costs if the returned products meet the set requirements. Please check the page Returns for more information. If you exchange the item for one that differs in colour or size, shipping costs will be charged again and will be borne by you. If you receive a wrong item, an item containing a defect or an incorrectly delivered order, you must return the item or the order in an unused state to ESSENZA HOME within 14 days. In such a case, ESSENZA HOME will pay the return costs. If the item contains a defect we will replace the item without charging delivery costs. If you want to return an item, please enclose the return label with the shipment.

You should check the items before using and/or washing them. Used and/or washed items can unfortunately not be returned. Please take into consideration the fact that an item can shrink 2-4% without doing  injustice to the purpose. If an item doesn’t fit because the wrong size is supplied by us, you can use a "right of withdrawal".

Transport guarantee
All  shipments are insured by ESSENZA HOME. If you notice that the packaging of your parcel is damaged before opening it, contact us immediately via e-mail or the helpdesk. If you have already opened the package at the moment you notice any damage, send an e-mail to webstore@essenzahome.nl and follow the instructions. ESSENZA HOME will replace unused, damaged items free of charge

By ordering, you are also permitting ESSENZA HOME at the same time to use your personal data, if required. We will only keep your information, for as long as we are either required to by law or as is relevant, for the purposes for which it was collected. In addition to carrying out the agreement, this entails realizing marketing objectives and maintaining the customer relationship with you. The personal data provided by you will not be shared with a third party for commercial purposes. You are entitled at all times to consult and correct your personal data. In accordance with the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act, ESSENZA HOME has notified the Dutch Data Protection Authority about the registration of personal data.

If you wish to consult your personal data, you can submit a request to the Customer Service Department of ESSENZA HOME via the contact page.

Claims and consumer protection
Do not hesitate to contact ESSENZA HOME if you are dissatisfied with our products or services. If you have a complaint about a delivered item, contact us within 14 days after the shortcoming became apparent or you were reasonably expected to be aware of it. ESSENZA HOME has an internal complaints committee, which always resolves any problems or complaints in consultation with the customer in the best possible manner.


These means of payment are clearly explained on the service page in the ESSENZA HOME store under the heading “Order”.
ESSENZA HOME retains the right to perform a check during a purchase. On the basis of the acquired information, we can offer an alternative means of payment or cancel the order. No correspondence is possible with regard to any decisions or conclusions.
All transactions that occur via the ESSENZA HOME webstore are encoded for your safety.

ESSENZA HOME does not accept any liability in relation to you for any damage, other than the damage that is covered by its liability insurance and insofar as the insurance company effects payment in such cases.
Outside of the aforementioned cases, our liability is always limited to no more than the amount of the purchase price of the relevant item(s). Under no circumstances will the compensation referred to in this section amount to more than € 2,500. ESSENZA HOME can never be held liable for consequential damages.

Force majeure
The obligations of ESSENZA HOME will be suspended in a situation involving force majeure. If the period of force majeure is longer than two months, both you and ESSENZA HOME are entitled to annul the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation. Situations that involve force majeure are strikes, illness among personnel, disruptions in transport and import/export bans, regardless whether this occurs at ESSENZA HOME or our suppliers.
